About Me
Mark Mattivi is an architectural photographer and photographic educator based in Evergreen Colorado. Since 1990 he has established himself as a top photographer in his specialty, architectural photography. Educated at the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara California, Mark concentrates on solving the complex photographic and lighting demands unique to each project. For the past twelve years he has been a professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, College of Architecture & Planning now the College of Environmental Design teaching basic and advanced technical photography to architecture and planning students.
Awards & Honors:
•Ernest Brooks Senior Memorial Achievement Award. This award is bestowed by the entire faculty at Brooks Institute for outstanding photographic excellence during the entire course of study at the Institute.
•Industrial Scientific & Color Technology Departmental Awards. Awarded to the outstanding student in each major for outstanding photographic performance in a major.

All images on this site were produced using Nikon digital bodies with Nikkor optics. Large format film images were made utilizing Nikkor Large Format optics.
